Pierre Jules AUGÉ, een visionaire en toegewijde apotheker, ontwikkelt zijn eerste cosmetische product als een liefdesverklaring aan zijn vrouw Lucienne, die een fragiele en gevoelige huid heeft. Dit is ENTAL DÉLICATE Softening Care, een iconisch product van het merk PIER AUGÉ. Vervolgens besloot hij zijn huidverzorgingsassortiment te lanceren in zijn fabriek in Monaco. Als onderdeel van zijn ontwikkeling raakte hij geïnteresseerd in het nieuwste wetenschappelijke werk over de huid en haar eigenschappen.
